Susan Carnahan is originally from Dallas, Texas. She completed her undergraduate degree from the University of North Texas in 1992. She then moved to upstate New York, eventually earning her MFA in photography at Syracuse University. She has exhibited in New York, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Chicago, Ohio and Texas. She currently resides in NYC with her husband Jerry and her two sons David and Stephen.
