Susan Carnahan is originally from Dallas, Texas. She completed her undergraduate degree from the University of North Texas in 1992. She then moved to upstate New York, earning her MFA in photography at Syracuse University. She has exhibited in New York, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Australia, and Finland. She currently resides in NYC with her husband, Jerry and her sons, David, Stephen and William.
